Mrs. Lisa Godley

Hello, my name is Lisa Godley. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 21st year in education. I have spent the last four years in Pitt County at G.R. Whitfield teaching 7th grade ELA/SS. I am excited about returning back to Chocowinity Middle School this school year as the Media Coordinator/Instructional Technology Leader.

I grew up in Chocowinity and attended Chocowinity Primary and Chocowinity High School. This is where my love of teaching began at an early age. I hope to be like the many positive role models that I have had as teachers right here in Beaufort County.

I have been married to my husband, Chad, for the last 27 years. We have two grown children named Christopher and Megan. Our pets consist of one-miniature long-haired dachshund (Duke), one chow/lab (Little Bear), and one Siberian husky (Suki). My hobbies include reading, four-wheeler riding and spending time with my family and fur babies.
