Dr. Marvin Bradley

Marvin Bradley, Ed.D., a native of Chicago, Illinois, began his educational career after retiring from the military (United States Navy) in August 1999. He was a special education teacher and dean of students at an alternative school in Norfolk, Virginia. Later, Dr. Bradley moved to North Carolina, where he was the assistant principal at the following schools: Northwood High, Ardrey Kell High, EE Waddell High, and Sun Valley High. Dr. Bradley was recruited as Director of Student Support Services at Orr Academy in Chicago, Illinois. In 2011, he was named Principal of Northwest Halifax High School where he served until August 2014. Additionally, Dr. Bradley was named Principal of Concrete Roses STEM Academy Charter School in Charlotte, NC. 

Dr. Bradley is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Beaufort County Schools. As the COO, under the supervision of the Superintendent, he serves in a staff capacity to all administration in the district regarding all matters pertaining to operations. The COO oversees, supervises and directs auxiliary service, school-nutrition, and transportation divisions of the district.

Dr. Bradley holds a bachelor's degree in workforce education and development from Southern Illinois University, a master's degree in special education from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, and a Doctorate in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Bradley and his wife, Jacqueline, have six children and currently reside in Greenville, North Carolina.
