Shannon Sines

Preschool Director

In over 27 years as an educator, Mrs. Sines has served as a Classroom Teacher, Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Human Resources and Superintendent of a Community School.  Her work has taken her to school districts in Ohio, Alaska and Hawaii.  Mrs. Sines joined Beaufort County Schools in 2022.

As Preschool Director, Mrs. Sines provides support for the BCS Blended Preschool Programs at Chocowinity Primary, Eastern Elementary and Northeast Elementary.  She also oversees the referral, screening and evaluation process for children aged 3-5 who have suspected delays or learning difficulties.
