Exceptional Children’s Director

My name is Kimberly Gibbs and I am excited to start my fifth year as Exceptional Children’s Director of Beaufort County Schools. I am a native of Beaufort County and have lived in Washington, NC my entire life. I graduated from East Carolina University (ECU) in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education and then graduated in May 2012 with a Master’s Degree in School Administration. I served as an Exceptional Teacher for fifteen years, an Assistant Principal for four and a half years and a Principal for four years.
