Health Science 

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Health Science classes of Washington High School! I infuse my teaching with the passion I bring from years of experience in the clinical and hospital setting. My mission is to help my students fall in love with this honored profession. I want to advance the meaning and purpose of each student's life by meeting the healthcare needs of our community and by preparing them for a healthcare career. 

A little about me....I have worked in general surgery, bariatric surgery and pulmonary services. I have worked as a bedside nurse, clinical nurse, and a preceptor for ECU nursing students. My time as a preceptor revealed my true love for teaching!
