Hello Families! 

I am very excited to be an Assistant Principal intern and join the Chocowinity Primary Tribe! I will be at CPS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays this year while getting my degree in Administration. I cannot wait to get to know all our scholars and their families at Chocowinity. 

I was born and raised in Washington, and I am a proud graduate of Washington High School. At East Carolina University, I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a reading license in K-12 and my graduate degree in Instructional Technology with computers in education license in K-12.  I taught Kindergarten for 13 years at Eastern Elementary School in Washington and then served as the Media Coordinator and Instructional Technology Leader at Eastern for the past 3 years. I absolutely love what I do, and I am so excited about the new things to come! 

I live on the beautiful Pamlico River in Washington and enjoy time with my family and friends. I do not have any kids of my own yet, but every student I have ever taught always remains as one of my kids! I have a passion for making Beaufort County one of the best places to live and continuing to grow successful leaders in our community. I am excited to get to know everyone in Chocowinity and I hope to jump in headfirst and fearless!
