Ms. Brianna Williams

My name is Brianna Williams.  I am one of the Assistant Principals at Washington High School.  I have served students and their families as a teacher and school administrator.  I graduated from the University of Mount Olive (formerly Mount Olive College) in 2002 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  In 2004, I completed my Master of Art in Teaching degree in Secondary Science Education and graduated with the Master of School Administration degree from East Carolina University in 2015.  I hold the NC Principal license and the Curriculum Instructional Specialist license. I taught high school science for 11 years, worked in middle schools for 7 years, and am now back in high school where I started.  I am excited about providing instructional leadership for our teachers and students as well as forming a partnership with families and the community.

When students leave WHS, we want them to have the necessary tools, academic background, and communication skills to be prepared for college as well as their life beyond.

We want our students to be successful as they enter college, the military, or the workforce and for them to be a productive member of society.

Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the BEST they can possibly be.
