Hello, My name is Mr. Blount. I am currently teaching Social Studies at S.W. Snowden(Go Trojans!). I am from the Chocowinity-Washington area. I attended Chocowinity Schools (Go Indians!) and graduated from Southside High School in 2015 (Go Seahawks!) I graduated from Beaufort County Community College in 2017 with Associate Degrees in Arts, Science, General Education, and Applied Science: General Occupational Technology. I attended East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) for my Double Major Bachelor's of Science in Political Science, concentrating on Pre-Law and History, concentrating on Historical Studies. I have worked in many fields and places, including places such as East Carolina University, Duke University, and Johns Hopkins University. I began teaching at Beaufort County Educational Technical Center (Ed Tech) in the 6-8 Alternative Learning Placement room before transitioning to S.W. Snowden.
