Hello everyone!  This will be my 4th year as part of the Tayloe Tiger family.  I taught Music (and some band) at Northeast Elementary  for 17 years before going to Wahl-Coates School of the Arts for 3 years in Pitt County.  I worked as a music teacher, arts integration specialist and after school arts program coordinator, which makes me able to integrate all subjects and all the arts into music classes. How fun!  

Music is not only my passion, but also my career, and I am so blessed to be able to share my love of music with students. In each class period we will sing, move, and play instruments.  My philosophy is that music is a part of ALL of us, and each of us can be successful using voice, body, or instruments.  It is my job to figure out how each individual learns best.  Music is simply communication without words, a universal language.  I love the way music can set a mood, and even change a mood; Can you imagine a scary movie scene with happy music?!

I have 2 children at home, my daughter is a senior at WHS  (Go PamPack!) and is a cheerleader.  My son is a freshman at WHS and is a competitive gymnast- he keeps me busy travelling to competitions all year long!  In my spare time I love to cook, read, travel, and participate in most outdoor events.
