I have taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade during my teaching career.  This year is my 31st year of teaching.  My passion is to teach students to become great readers and writers.  It is exciting to see the growth they make.  I have 3 beautiful children who are  in college at NC State and Carolina.  I have been married 28 years to my wonderful husband Walt.  I have a beagle named Rassy that I adore!!! I love being with my family, boat riding and traveling to new places.
