My name is Michele Shelton and I currently serve at John Cotten Tayloe as the instructional coach and LETRS Ambassador. This is my 31st year as an educator, where I served the first 25 years in Smyth County, Virginia. Six years ago, my family relocated to Eastern North Carolina and I have the honor of being a part of Beaufort County Schools. As an instructional coach, LETRS training has opened the door to  authentic professional discussions and has changed the way literacy instruction is delivered within our school.
