Greetings, Beaufort County Community!

 

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Coordinator of Student Services for Beaufort County Schools. I am a native Northeast North Carolinian transitioning to Student Services with over 21 years of combined experience as a classroom teacher, instructional support lead in an alternative learning setting, and school administrator. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Elizabeth City State University and completed my licensure requirements to teach at East Carolina University. I also received a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development with a concentration in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Elizabeth City State University.

 

The Beaufort County Schools Student Services Team promotes lifelong learning and achievement through support services for students, parents, guardians, and staff. We aim to establish positive working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the high-quality development of the whole child academically and mentally by eliminating barriers that might hinder the student from realizing their maximum potential. We provide families with information on access to resources available (professional services and programs) designed to aid students and their families.
