Although many colleges and universities have made the ACT and SAT optional for prospective students due to the effects of Covid-19 and remote learning, the ACT and SAT are still very important for potential college students. Many scholarships are tied to ACT or SAT scores. ECHS administers the ACT to all 11th graders during the Spring Semester.
