I grew up in Williamston, North Carolina and attended East Carolina University as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. I began my teaching career at Bear Grass Charter School. I taught at Bear Grass for four years. I have been at Beaufort County Early College High School since the 2016-2017 school year.
