This is my 20th year teaching. I was a high school Math Teacher for 17 of the 20 years. I received my MAE in 1998 in Instructional Technology Specialist in Computers. However, I was unable to get a job due to the county I worked in wanted me in the math classroom. When I moved back to Eastern NC in 2021, I applied for the Media/Technology Leader position because it was a NON-teaching position. By the end of the school year I had to teach 2nd and 3rd grade Related Arts classes. This high school teacher was not cut out to teach elementary students. So, I am retiring in December 2024. Woo hoo!!
