Hello! My name is Christy Weathers and I am excited about teaching kindergarten at Snowden Elementary this year! I am married to my husband, Bucky, and we are proud parents to Trent, Jantzen, Jake, Michael, Lillie and Ryder.

I have (3) associates degrees in education with an emphasis on child development, preschool age children and birth to kindergarten and a bachelors degree in educational studies. I have previously taught 1st and 2nd grades, as well as Middle School Social Studies. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, go to the beach and cheer on the Carolina Panthers at Panther stadium! I look forward to a fantastic school year and am thankful for the opportunity to give back to the community I grew up in, at the same elementary school I attended!
