Hi!

My name is Vanessa M-Oden and I am the new CTE/Paxton-Patterson Career Ready Lab Teacher teaching middle school scholars 6th. - 8th. graders. I am married and have three awesome children: a recent inspiring high school graduate, an amazing 8th grader and, of course, an adorable 4th grader. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. This is my first year at S. W. Snowden and I am very enthusiastic about my adventure here. The Paxton-Patterson Career Lab will open up a lot of doors with the S. W. Snowden scholars beginning to think at an early age about what they would like to be when they grow up. The scholars will get their feet wet and their minds racing with info from 12 different modules. Some examples are Computer Graphics & Game Development, Video Production, Home Maintenance Fundamentals, Nursing and Criminalistics just to name a few. I am very passionate about what I do and I look forward to working with the wonderful, amazing scholars and their families at S. W. Snowden Elementary School.
