(Go Pam Pack!) Before going to college, I spent 8 weeks at the N. C. School of the Arts in between my junior and senior years of high school! I first attended Appalachian State University as a Sophomore and a student of Watauga College. (my parents were thrilled I would be in college only three years after putting 4 other siblings through college)  I spent 8 years at East Carolina University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Ceramics and Business Administration, in 1991. After graduating, I worked as a Substitute teacher, Bank Teller, Fashion Merchandising, Jewelry Making Assistant, and waiting tables. In 1998, I moved to Washington from Wilmington.  I began my career in education in 1996 in Brunswick County, teaching K-8 Art for about 16 years. I have transferred to High School, and I am excited about finishing out my career at this level. Furthermore, I can’t wait to share with you my passion for art and look forward to teaching you how to develop more of an artistic voice.  I had two boys graduate from WHS!!
