Dr. Norris Parker
Dr. Parker, a native of Franklin, Virginia, began his educational career in 1995 in Martin County, North Carolina, where he taught a variety of Social Studies courses to high school students. His journey as an educational administrator began in 2006 when he served as an assistant principal for four years in Beaufort and Martin counties, and then as a principal for six years in Perquimans and Martin counties. In 2016, Dr. Parker started the first of several roles in district leadership, including Director of Testing & Accountability, district-wide PowerSchool Coordinator, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and Director of Human Resources. As the CAO in Beaufort County, Dr. Parker oversees the evaluation, development, implementation, and assessment of district curriculum and instruction.
Dr. Parker and his wife, Judge Regina Parker, are the proud parents of two daughters, Maya and Morgan.
