I am originally from Canada and obtained my undergraduate degrees in Psychology, another in Elementary Education along with my Master’s of Special Education while in Canada. I obtained my Master’s in School Administration and my Educational Leadership Specialist degrees from East Carolina University.

My teaching experience includes 2nd and 4th grades, middle school Language Arts and middle school Special Education Resource. I served as an Assistant Principal at the middle school and elementary school levels and have previous Principal experience at the K-8 level.

I am excited to be part of Beaufort County Schools and the John Small School family. I have been welcomed by the students and staff and look forward to great things ahead. I am excited to continue the positive growth, building relationships with the community and soaring into the future with our Eagles.

I am married to a high school Principal and my son is a graduate of Washington High School.
