Hello! My name is Ms. Holly Charles and I am excited to teach 5th grade ELA at JSS this school year. It is going to be a fun and adventurous school year full of learning, laughter, and growth. This will be my first year at JSS, but my 18th year teaching. I graduated with a BA in education from Kentucky Christian University in 2002. I earned my MA in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2008. I have taught several grades since starting my teaching career and watching students grow in their reading development is always a joy. I have two fabulous boys that I love spending time with, as well as our two dogs, Duke and Gus. In my free time I like to read, hike, kayak, go to the beach, and spend time with family and friends. I look forward to growing with my students! This is going to be the BEST year yet!!
