I am excited to begin my 16th year at Eastern Elementary School and my 18th year of teaching. I taught First Grade for 16 years and Reading Intervention last year. I am thrilled to begin a new adventure in Kindergarten this year! I grew up outside of Bath. I attended Beaufort County Community College before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy watching all of our scholars learn and grow every year and I'm ready for a wonderful year!
