Welcome to 1st grade. My name is Mary Martin Moore. This is my 29th year teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I can remember being a student here as well. My mom taught here for many years, so when she retired, I transferred to EES from CPS where I taught my first 8 years. I am married and have two children and three stepchildren. My son Hunter is a junior at ECU & my daughter MaryPage started PCC this year. Dylan, Justin, and Trey are all grown and married. I am a Mimi to Parker, Rhett, & Gatlin.  I graduated from East Carolina University in 1995 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Teaching is what I have always wanted to do, and I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my students. Seeing the growth they make from the beginning of school to the end makes my heart so happy. Watching that glow in their eyes and their facial expressions when they realize they CAN do new things is pure joy to me!! I am looking forward to another awesome year.
