Hi. My name is Melissa Carpenter and I am married to my wonderful husband, Trent, who I met during my high school years. I have two daughters, Sydney and Mariah, and one granddaughter, Lily, who is absolutely adorable. I've been a Beaufort County resident since 1995, after moving from Illinois.  After relocating, I obtained my AAS in Early Childhood Teacher Assistant Degree from BCCC. This will be my 19th year at Eastern Elementary and my 18th year in Pre-K. I love seeing the growth in our scholars and being a part of our close-knit Pre-K family.
