Summer break has ended, and we are looking forward to a new school year! We hope that there will be fun and exciting things to come. 

Hi, my name is Mrs. Ashe and I am a part of the Pre-Kindergarten teaching team at Eastern Elementary School (EES). I hope that everyone's summer went well, but I also hope that you are getting excited about our school year beginning for our population in September!

This year, I will be entering into my 13th school year at EES and continuing my 19th year of working with children overall.  I am a graduate of Southside High School and continued my education at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!).  I love being a mom of two; being part of an amazing teaching team; and being a small part of something much bigger as part of EES...striving to be a positive influence on the lives of future leaders. After the start of the school year last year, I married the love of my life, so this will be my first official school year as "Mrs. Ashe". I am excited about the prospect of many great things occurring this school year, and I am excited about partnering with many more families over the years to come!
