Hi, everyone!

Just a quick note to thank A-L-L the parents at Eastern for their powerful support of our Music program during the 24-25 school year!  Our First Grade Winter Concert back in December was a rousing success, with all our students having the opportunity to play instruments and sing and make music together! Our Pictures with Santa fundraiser was a brilliant success, allowing us to add more instruments to our classroom supply. 

The students' performance at Steppin' Out in May left me almost speechless - those of you that know me, KNOW what a big deal that is!!  I was not surprised, but still BLOWN AWAY by our students' behavior and performance during the rehearsals and program at Washington High School.  They were nothing short of a-MA-zing!!  And I would be remiss if I didn't thank the PIE Grant Committee one more time for funding our Boomwhackers!  

And, finally, our Kindergarten students got to shine even more brightly than I imagined at our Kindergarten Celebrations at the beginning of June.  Each pod sang together with a great feeling of unity - every student was paying attention and singing to the best of their ability! Who could ask for anything more?!?!?  And to make sure I don't leave anyone out, thanks again to our unparalleled PTO for supporting every school event this past year - including end-of-the-year Teacher Appreciation treats - we'd be lost without them.

If this was your last year at Eastern, I'll wish you the best as you and your family move on to JCT. But if you're coming back, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone - again or for the first time - when the students begin on Monday, 25 August.  I hope to see you on campus - look for me dancing at car pool in the morning!!
