Hello!  My name is Elizabeth Coats and I just completed my 16th year teaching 1st grade at Eastern.  I am married to my husband, Brandon.  We have 3 children:  Caleb (9), Kelsey (7), and Carlee (5).  I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in 2nd grade.  As I grew up, I always loved working with kids and loved school.  Now that I am a teacher, I want to share the love of learning with my students.  

I graduated from Campbell University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  Go Camels!  In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, taking pictures, and cooking.  

I love keeping my students moving and engaged during our lessons.  I love to watch them learn and grow! 

I am looking forward to a great summer of rest and relaxation!  Keep reading, writing, and calculating this summer!
