Rodney Evans has been involved with the construction trades his whole life. He was raised in Washington, N.C. and worked along with his father in the home construction and remodeling business.  Mr. Evans began working with Beaufort County Schools in the Maintenance Department, but an opportunity to work with young people soon took him to P.S. Jones Middle School where students were thrilled to learn basic carpentry skills.  Mr. Evans came to Northside in the Fall of 2023 and brings thirty-six years of carpentry experience to the classroom where he is able to prepare students for not only careers in the construction trades, but also for a lifetime of working on their own homes and hobbies. He teaches Construction Core along with Construction I, II and III.
