Hello,

My name is Arelis Oconitrillo- Palma. I am proud to be the Foreign Language teacher at Northside High. 
I am from Costa Rica. This will be my second year at Northside High after 11 years teaching in public schools in Costa Rica. It is a pleasure for me as an international ambassador teacher, to share all my knowledge, traditions and customs with my students.

I believe that teachers create the environment for students to develop their full potential, and with that empowerment, every student can become a competitive and productive global citizen.

Personally, I have been married for 16 years and have two children who are 12 and 7 years old. We love to spend time together.
