My name is Mrs. Dawn Johnson and I am very excited to join you this year as a NEW PANTHER!  I am new to Northside High School this year, but not Beaufort County Schools. I have been working within Beaufort County Schools for the past 8 years and before that I worked for over 7 years in Hoke County High School. I am so excited to be back in the High School setting and look forward to a very successful and exciting year with the PANTHERS!!

I am originally from Belhaven and attended East Carolina University (GO PIRATES!!) to receive my degree. I am DeeDee (Grandma)  to two amazing granddaughters and love that new role in my life. I love teaching Science and hopefully will help inspire my students to love it as well. I believe that the future of the world is in my classroom and will strive to do my very best to help them obtain their goals and be successful in their future endeavors, whatever they may be!
