Hello! I am excited to begin my first year at Southside High School and my fifth year at Beaufort County Schools. I am a native of Beaufort County and love living in Eastern North Carolina. My hobbies include reading, playing/watching various sports, and fishing. I graduated from Winthrop University where I played Women’s Basketball and received a degree in Communication Disorders. Additionally, I obtained an Associate Degree and my Physical Therapist Assistant License which led to sixteen years in healthcare! A relentless desire to teach and coach led to me obtaining my teaching licensure through the lateral entry program at ECU. I will be teaching Earth Science and Physical Fitness this year and look forward to coaching the Girl’s Basketball team here at Southside. Go Seahawks!
