I have been the band director at Southside HS since it opened in the 1999-2000 school year.  Before that, I was the music teacher at SW Snowden for the 1998-1999 school year.  

Our band program comes in two parts.  In the Fall, marching band focuses on providing quality entertainment at the home football games, as well as delivering solid representation of our school in the Beaufort County Christmas Parades.  In the Spring, we focus on an hour long concert program that reflects the historical and cultural themes of our annual Spring Band Trip.  This trip rotates yearly between Gettysburg, PA, Baltimore, MD, Charleston, SC, and Williamsburg, VA.  

For non-performing students, we also offer a Music History class that explores the history of Rock and Country music from 1950 -2000.

My planning period is 2nd block, 10:30 - 12:00.
