Teaching has always been an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited about working with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might want to know more about me. I am married with four children. We have two boys and two girls. Olivia, my oldest, is going into sixth grade this year. Austin is ten and will be in fifth grade this year, Cameron is eight and going into third grade, and Abby, who turned 4 this summer. They keep me busy and take up the majority of my free time, but I enjoy being outdoors, camping, crafting, and reading when time allows.

I have lived in New Bern for the majority of my life. My husband, children, and I have recently relocated to Beaufort County. My husband grew up in Washington, and we have moved back. We are excited to join the community and raise our children here to make lifelong friends. I am one of three children. I am the middle child. I have an older sister who is also in education and a younger brother who is a police officer. I went to New Bern High School and graduated in 2010. I am a proud alumnus of ECU where I obtained my Bachelor's in Elementary Education K-6 and an additional license in Reading K-12. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion so that my students develop a desire to become lifelong learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
