My name is Brandy Council. I currently teach third grade at Bath Elementary. Altogether, I have taught for 25 years. I taught fourth grade my first 6 years and third grade ever since. I graduated from East Carolina University with my BS degree, as well as my Masters degree. I am a National Board Certified teacher and am Reading K-12 certified. 

I have a daughter, Katie, who attends ECU. I also have a son, Jacob, who is a Senior at Washington High School. I have been married for 21 years to a wonderful husband and father, David. We have 2 dogs, Charlie and Bandit. 

If you know me, you know I absolutely love my job and look forward to school each and every day! My classroom motto is, "Whatever It Takes". I will do "Whatever It Takes" to make my students successful and confident in themselves and their academic ability.
