Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Debbie O. Arthur and I have been teaching at Northeast Elementary School since the school opened in 2001.  I grew up in the Hyde County area and attended Mattamuskeet High School.   I went to Louisburg College and East Carolina University, where I earned my teaching degree.  

I live in the Northeast Elementary School district with my husband, Chad.  We have two boys, Ryan and Brandon, and a very spoiled black lab, Maggie.   Ryan graduated from Northside High School and Brandon is in his Senior Year at Northside High School. During my free time, I enjoy working in my yard, spending time with my family, and I love watching Brandon play baseball! 

I am super excited about teaching 2nd grade this year at Northeast Elementary.  The school year will be filled with lots of learning, laughter, and love.  I am excited to see my students grow this year.
