My name is Gladys Winfield.  I have two children, Maria and Antonio.  I have worked at Northeast Elementary School in various roles for 15 years.  I have worked as an assistant teacher in PreK for the past 9 1/2 years.  In April 2022, I graduated from Mount Olive University with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education.  This is my first year as a teacher in PreK.

7:45-8:15 Children’s Arrival, Handwashing, Indoor center free choice play (All centers open) (30 Minutes-free choice centers)

8:15-8:40 Handwashing, BREAKFAST, handwashing after breakfast

8:40-9:00 Whole group meeting (circle time)

9:00-10:45 Indoor Free Choice Play (All Centers Open) (1 hour 45 minutes)

10:45-11:30 Lunch ( hand washing after lunch)

11:30-12:40 Outdoor Free Choice play (weather permitting) (1 hour)

12:40-1:00 hand washing upon entering the room, snack

1:00-1:10 Whole group meeting, Storytime

1:10-2:10 Rest time, cots up, transition to centers

2:10-2:40 Indoor Free Choice play (All centers open) (30 minutes)

2:40-2:50 Pack up, afternoon meeting, reflect on the day

2:50 Dismissal
