I am from Fremont, NC. I graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 1991 and Barton College in 1995 with a BS in Art Education (concentration in painting). I had two wonderful art teachers in Elementary and High School, who influenced my decision to teach art. This is my 29th year teaching. I have taught all grade levels from Pre-K to 12th grade. I moved to Beaufort County in 2004 and have been teaching K-8 Art at Northeast Elementary since. Before moving to Beaufort County, I taught with Nash-Rocky Mount Schools, Wayne County Public Schools and Fremont Methodist Preschool. I am married and have two daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family, being an active member of my church, traveling, and painting.
