Dear PSJ Families,

I am so honored and excited to be returning to P.S. Jones after serving 4 years as Principal at John Small Elementary School. Prior to becoming Principal at JSS, I served as an Assistant Principal for 4 years here at P.S. Jones Middle School and also taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade in Pitt County.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2006 and completed the Masters of School Administration through the NC Principal Fellows Program at East Carolina University in 2013. My greatest accomplishment was being selected as the Beaufort County School 2018-2019 Principal of the Year.

I believe in innovation and empowering teachers, students and parents and my greatest passion is instilling hope in every child. It is essential that we as educators nurture their strengths and ensure that each individual finds their gift that they can share with the world.

On a personal note, I reside in Washington with my husband and three children. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and attending their sporting events, recitals and activities.

I look forward to continuing the success here at PSJ and working with the amazing teachers and families here in Washington!
