Welcome to 7th grade ELA!

I am Lilli Reeves. I am from the mountains of NC. I graduated from ECU with a BA in political science with an International Relations minor in 2004. I earned teaching certification in 2005. I graduated in 2018 with my MSA and Curriculum Instruction. Since 2005, I have taught middle grades ELA with one year being Social Studies. I have taught at Snowden Elementary and now PS Jones. I'm a boy mom, and our family is involved in sports always. We love football, wrestling, basketball, track, and baseball. 

This year, we will be using Study Sync, Flocabulary, Edpuzzle, Commonlit, kahoot, and Blooket to practice and complete vocabulary, reading comprehension, and literary skills class work and assignments. We will read an assortment of texts and complete projects based on literary skills and reading materials.

All updated class information for my 7th grade ELA classes including the class syllabus, supply list, Remind codes, class announcements, and class assignments can be found in the Google Classrooms. Students will use the StudySync curriculum this school year.

Daily schedule:

1st Period: 7:45-9:21

2nd Period: 9:21-10:51- Wheel 

3rd Period: 11:00-12:58 (lunch 11:30-11:55)

4th Period: 1:01-2:37
