I am a native of Chocowinity where I also received my elementary and high school education.  After receiving my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, I pursued higher education at East Carolina University where I received my BS degree in Family and Community Studies with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations. With this education, I am also a Montessori-trained Guide who specializes in applying Montessori methods to fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade students for many years.  

I am a wife, a mother of three girls, and a grandmother to a baby girl.  I am passionate about educating children. Nurturing the lives of all students drive my will to learn with them every day.  It is a joy for me to become part of the PS Jones family and I look forward to a fantastic year.
