My name is Laura Beth Ross. I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from East Carolina University. My family and I love cheering for the Pirates at football and basketball games. My husband Kain and I have three children; Luke, Sally, and Hunt. We enjoy spending time on the Pamloico River in the summer and snow skiing in the winter.

I teach fourth grade. I have a true passion for teaching. I love all children and thrive on their success. I teach with a lot of enthusiasm, and I'm continually trying to engage each student. I'm an advocate for small group instruction in which I feel each child receives a more personalized approach to learning. Communication is key to a child's success and will communicate with each parent or guardian weekly.
