Hello everyone! My name is Jammie Avery and I am the Literacy Specialist at Chocowinity Primary School.  On a daily basis, I teach select students to provide additional literacy support in a small group setting.  I also serve as the Title 1 and SIT chair representative at CPS. 

I graduated from East Carolina University with my degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Child Studies.  I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Scranton.  

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, relaxing at the beach or mountains, and reading.
