About Me

This is my fourth year at CPS.  I work with our Multilingual Learners (EL class) and Academically and Intellectually Gifted students (AIG/Enrichment). I am also the school's Lead Student Ambassador Coach. Lego Team Coach, and Battle of the Books Team Coach. I am an Ohio native. I attended Bluffton University for my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I moved to NC to teach and have never looked back. I started my career in Wayne County, where I taught kindergarten for 15 years. My family and I moved to Beaufort County and I am so excited to be at this AmAzing school!

I live with my husband Jimmy and five kids; Kailyn, Jameson, Eden, Raelyn and Carson. We have a big German Sheppard named Jax and a yard full of chickens, turkeys, and rabbits. 

Teaching is hard! It is full of love, joy, challenges and hard work. When you love what you do, it makes it all worth it! Together our school will be FEARLESS!
